Southeast University’s Achievement in the Scimago Rankings 2026

Southeast University has secured the 2nd position in Overall Ranking and the top position in the Innovation category among Bangladeshi universities, according to the 2026 rankings released by Spain's renowned education and research organization, Scimago.

In its latest report covering 10,827 universities across the globe, Scimago Institutions Ranking's country-wise data reveal that Southeast University has surpassed other prestigious universities in Bangladesh to claim the first position in the Innovation category. 

This milestone highlights the university's growing social and academic impact and recognition as a major knowledge hub. Southeast solidifies its position as a center of educational excellence in the country and affirms its commitment to providing high-quality education.
