UIU achieved “Academic Alliance” accreditation from the IIA, USA

The BBA in Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) program of United International University (UIU) achieved the prestigious “Academic Alliance” accreditation from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), USA. 

UIU is the 2nd university in Bangladesh to receive this prestigious international recognition.

The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), USA, officially delivered a letter to United International University (UIU) yesterday acknowledging this prestigious accreditation. UIU has been listed as an Academic Affiliate-level university within the IIA’s Internal Audit Academic Alliance Program. 

The Internal Audit Academic Alliance was established to recognize the various degrees of commitment and effort universities are making to prepare students for a career in internal auditing.

Whether through introductory exposure or developing workforce-ready graduates, participating institutions play a vital role in equipping future professionals with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation needed to advance the future of the internal auditing profession. It is worth mentioning that IIA is a partner of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

This accreditation demonstrates the academic excellence of the BBA in AIS program of UIU within the global field of internal auditing. The curriculum is now formally recognized for its alignment with the highest international standards for internal audit education.
