Entrepreneurship Project Show held at UIU

The BBA Program of the School of Business and Economics (SoBE), United International University (UIU) successfully organized the “Entrepreneurship Project Show – Summer 2025” at the UIU campus yesterday. 

The event celebrated the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial potential of undergraduate business students.

Mr. Iqbal Bahar Zahid, Director & CEO of Optimax Communication Ltd., Managing Director of Aladinkids, and President, Founder, Teacher & Mentor at Entrepreneurship (Nijer Bolar Moto Ekta Golpo Foundation) was present as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Salma Karim, Director, BBA Program, School of Business and Economics, UIU was present as the Special Guest in the program. The Vice Chancellor of UIU Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia presided over the Ceremony. The initiative was led by Ms. Nasrin Akter, Assistant Professor, SoBE, UIU and Mr. Jakowan, Assistant Professor and Deputy Director at IQAC, UIU. 

The Entrepreneurship Project Show is part of the core undergraduate course “Entrepreneurship and Business Plan Development” under the BBA curriculum. In this course, students developed business ideas and proposals, product prototypes, websites, TV commercials, and comprehensive business plans. The final showcase featured 20 teams comprising around 100 students, who presented their startup projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the end of the event, three teams were recognized as Champion, 1st Runner-up, and 2nd Runner-up and were awarded crests, while all participants received certificates of appreciation from the honorable guests.

The event not only showcased students’ entrepreneurial capabilities but also demonstrated UIU’s continued commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and sustainability-oriented business solutions among the future business leaders of Bangladesh. 

The faculty members, students, officials, academicians, entrepreneurs and other distinguished guests were present in the program.
