Southeast University’s IRT Hosts University of Windsor Delegation

The Institute of Research and Training (IRT) of Southeast University organized a special meeting with the visiting delegates of the University of Windsor, Canada on 26 November 2025.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Chris Busch, Vice President, Enrolment Management and Ms. Neharika Kataria, Principal Advisor (South Asia) of University of Windsor. Quazi Gulam Farhad, Trade Commissioner at the High Commission of Canada in Bangladesh was also present. 

During the discussion, the guests highlighted the wide range of opportunities available for Southeast University faculty and students at the University of Windsor, including collaborative research initiatives, openings for visiting scholars and students.

The SEU side was represented by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Major General Md Anwarul Islam (Retd.), Registrar; Prof. Dr. Md. AKM Masum, Director of IQAC; Prof. Dr. Dewan Md Farid, Dean of the School of Science & Engineering among others. 

Prof. Dr. Hasnat M. Alamgir, Director of IRT, moderated the discussion. Later a seminar was arranged for the students.
