
Southeast University Observes Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (S.A.W.)
Southeast University (SEU) held a discussion meeting and dua mahfil to observe the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (S.A.W.) on 7 September 2025, at the university's Multipurpose Hall.
Professor Md. Mokhatar Ahmad, Director of Daffodil Islamic Centre, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an insightful speech highlighting the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Dr. Tareque M. Taufiqur Rahman, Professor, Department of Political Science, University of Rajshahi, delivered a speech as a special guest. The event was presided over by Professor Dr. M. Mofazzal Hossain, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Southeast University.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of following the Prophet's ideals to build a society rooted in peace, harmony, and humanity. The program concluded with a heartfelt dua mahfil, where participants prayed for the welfare of the Muslim Ummah and the nation.
The event was attended by the Registrar, Deans, Heads, faculty members, officials, and students. The university community's active participation underscored the event's significance, reinforcing the institution's commitment to both academic and spiritual development.
